SportsBeat is designed to showcase the high school athlete and their specific sports related experiences. While Facebook is great for general social networking, it does not focus on the importance of statistics, individual and team experiences, the buildup and aftermath of each game/event and networking with fellow high school athletes. SportsBeat documents a high school student's athletic career and their growth throughout the most developmental part of their lives.
You don't have friends on SportsBeat; you have Teammates. You are automatically linked to every member of your team once they join. Get your teammates on the site and open up your team experience for everyone to see.
Nope! High school athletes are part of a special culture and SportsBeat creates a platform for all of you to interact. Once you select to follow an athlete from their profile page, you will see their posts appear on The Beat every time you log in.
